Chiang Mai & Chiang Rai -- Day 1

Hey peeps... because of my laziness now only i started to blog :P Here it goes...

On 20th Jan 2010, we reached LCCT about 4:30am early in the morning & our flight was 7:20am to Chiang Mai. Me & Wonder were the earlier who reached there. We had our breakfast at Starbuck while waiting to the other.
Finally we were all here... but before check-in, of cause we want a group photo :P

It was 7:30am... we were on the plane, can notices that the weather was nice :D
3 hours on the plane and finally it's landed... We were reached!!!! :D

Solve all the immigration formalities, we ride on the hotel arranged car.

Plan done!!! While we were waiting for our tour guide. We tried to took some photos around the villa... from the front door till the backyard, never missed a place.... even the toilet :D Hahahahaha....

The tour guide reached. We were ready to go!!!!!! Of cause the first things was FOOD!!! It was about 1pm++. Reached this restaurant called Kamu Phuket. The food below were all recommend by our tour guide. :-)
It doesn't look like a restaurant actually :P but the food was nice :-)

~~ Is actually an appetizer, fresh vegetable with shrimp paste. Nice!!!!! :P

Lunch done!!! The 1st location was this place called Jolie Femme. A Thai Silk factory which provide production and sales services.

Thai silk is one of the finest fabrics in the world. It has very distinctive features that are fundamentally different from the Chinese, Indian and Italian silks. One could not say that any one of the four types is superior to the others, but the process of manufacturing, the patterns and colors used do make the silk types different.

After this, we were moved to the next location called.... don't know how to read thai :P Is a silver factory actually.

Stay about half hour at this silver factory then we moved on to this place called Bo Sang Umbrella Making Center.

Moved to the next destination one of a largest wood carving factory in Chiang Mai.
The factory was really big...
Since nothing to do.... Haiseh, why not we imitating one of the scene in JUON!!! (not came out from the TV but came out from the mirror... some more short hair version.... so salah hor?? hahahhaha :D) SO NAUGHT!!! :P
Can see how beautiful it is!!! Really 100% hand made.

Spent about half hour at here then we moved to this place called Wat Jedee Luang on Prapokklao Road.
The temple was originally constructed in 1401 by the orders of King Saeng Muang Ma.
Unfortunately on 1545, the great earthquake destroyed the temple. 1992, the reconstructed jedee was finished, and it is every as impressive as it was when it was first built.

It was about 8pm+ & of cause the next mission was full fill our stomach!!!
The Gallery... The perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment during a stay in Chiang Mai. Set in a 100 year-old teak wood house on the bank of the Ping River.

Brrrrupppp...... Too full... so we planed to goto the Night Bazaar. The Night Bazaar is open every day of the year regardless of the weather from dusk till around midnight.

In the Night Bazaar you will find a huge variety of brand name designer goods (real and fake) (clothing, T-shirts, belts, shoes, jewellery, watches, DVD's & CD's) and local Thai goods at really low prices.

Spent about 1 hour at here then we back to the hotel & had a rest. Of cause I had bought some souvenirs here :P

Christmas @ Bali -- Day 3

Phewwww.... 3rd day... is 3rd day!!! Is sunny day!!! Is time to the beach!!!!!!!! Woke up a bit late because of the alcohol... After ready, me & Lorraine spent some time to took photos again...

Welcome to Kuta beach... Finally we were here!!!!! But then we were just only to take a photo & to another place called Nusa Dua. (information from our tour guide)

Before that, we were managed to visit this place... a place which memories of the incident will live throughout the years among the people of Bali ~~ Kuta Legian Memorial.
Bali Bomb Memorial... 202 people died on 12 Oct 2002, in the worst incident ever to occur in the peaceful land of Bali.
These are the list of people whose lives were lost in the fateful incident...

Spent about 15mins at this place... then we rushed to this place called Nusa Dua. A place for those who like water sports.

Sunny day... but we were just passing by & didn't try any water activities here!!!!! lll=.=lll Wasted hor.... I tell myself... never mind, I'll be there again!!!!!! **faint**

Coming up next destination is this ~~ Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple... A beautifull place for seeing sunset and beautiful rock with Hindia Ocean view... but we reached at about 12 noon really big & hot sun I tell u.... lll=.=lll

Lost my sunglasses is because of this MONKEYS!!!!! They snatched my sunglasses!!!! These monkeys was hiding along the way... so don't forget to hide your sunglasses or camera while walking here... have to be veli careful I tell you... cause I'm one of the victim =.=

Brupppp.... very full.... then we started to go. Next location was this place called Tanah Lot Temple. This temple is very famous among tourist destinations in Bali.

Is time to home... Is time to pack... It was our last night at Bali and we had to reach airport about 4am :-S....

After packing all the stuff then only we went for our dinner. Had McD at the nearer place, just need a few steps from our hotel... Dinner done.. we walked around before we back to our hotel...

We were so so tired after a long day walk.... take a short nap before we left to airport...

Christmas @ Bali -- Day 2

Yawn.... 24th Dec 2009... Christmas Eve!!! We were woke up early in the morning. After prepared our self, me and Lorraine went for our buffet breakfast. :P

The 1st place we went was Ubud... Its basically a village…a cultural village at that. So you have some shops…but mostly houses where people are creating stuff and selling them. So one can shop for Balinese clothes, decorative items, memorabilia many more.....

We were spent almost half day at this place. :-S After a long walk... We were tried to recharge!!!

The banana leaf plate consisted of a pile of fragrant rice, tender slices of piggy, a piece of blood sausage, some other unidentifiable internal fried bits, with a piece of kulit (crispy skin) with the accompanying sambal...

After lunch... we continue to our next location. Actually we were just passed by here and took some photos.

Spent about half hour at this place. Then we rushed to another location again, the weather was getting dark.... like want to rain!!!!!!! :-S

Can see how heavy the rain was... sigh....... tried to rent an umbrella from a little girl (A new business wor :D) it cost us about Rp 5000 :-S

Because of the weather, we had no choice, so we continue to this place called Kintamani Volcano. A mountain which lies at 1400 meters above sea level. Luckily the rain was stop while on the way to there... so that we can manage to take some photos here...

The next station... back to the natural. We when to this place..... forgot the name :P Is actually half hour from Kintamani Volcano. A place that have many Coffee & Cocoa plantations. (Bali natural spice)

After finished our tasting session. We found this market... We tried to find some junk food & drink before we heading to the next location...

Spent about half hour at this market place. The next station was Stage Chandra Budaya. We were there to watch the most unique balinese dance name "Sanghyang" or Trance Dance and also can called Kecak & Fire Dance, which is not accompanied by any orchestra or gamelan but by choir of hundred men it has it's origin in an old ritual dance.

Coming up with Sanghyang Dedari Dance. Sanghyang dance developed from to the essential religious function maintaining the health and well being of the village.

After the Sanghyang Dedari Dance, the last performance was Sanghyang Jaran Dance. An entranced boy dancer on a horse (jaran). Behaving like a horse. He dances around a bonfire made from coconut husks. The Sanghyang song leads him to the fire and he will dance on the fire.

Is dinner time!!! After finished the stage performance was about 8pm+. So we had our dinner at this place...

Wah!!!!! A long long walk of a day..... how can it be?? Although we were tired, but is Christmas Eve!!! After back to the hotel... shower.... we went to a beach club for refreshment and waiting for the Christmas countdown party by rented 2 motors (long time did't sit on the motor, a bit scared on that day :P)

Comparing with Malaysia, Christmas Eve in Bali is not so happening. Only a few people inside the club (can be counted by fingers) can you imagine that =.=

Spent about 1 & half hours at the club... until 1:30am 25th Dec 2009... we went to the hotel with a tired body... Merry Christmas Bali...

Christmas @ Bali -- Day 1

Erhemmmm... Is time to blog. Actually i really no idea now... cause too many photos till i can't shown it here, just try my best lar :P
Here it goes... On last years 23th Dec 2009, it was my 1st time celebrated Christmas in others country with friends...
The gang!!! We are ready to goooooo!!! :P
After 3 hour on the plane... finally we were reached ~~ Bali!!!! It's about 10pm++. Of cause, the 1st think in our mind was FOOD!!!!! We were veli veli the hungry after a long flight.... we found this place to had our dinner through the tour guide that recognized by one of the friend...
